SEIPS ICORE Match Results for April 27, 2014

A dozen well dressed SEIPS members turned out for a cool, breezy April ICORE Match. The Idaho Spring weather didn't dim the enthusiasm of the shooters.  The 9 am temperature was a balmy 36 degrees. The winds gusted up to 26 mph but conditions warmed to 48 by the end of the match about 1 pm.

Thanks to Elden Dalley for putting together yet another memorable, fun and challenging 5-stage revolver match!
Neither rain, sleet, wind, snow or cold will deter the hard core ICORE shooters from their monthly match.

Rex put on a revolver shooting exhibition at the April ICORE.  Not only was Rex the fastest shooter, his mere 5 Hits was one of the lowest Hit totals in an ICORE match in a long time.  Way to go, Rex!

Below are the results for each of the five stages.  You should be able to use your scroll bar to move the graphic to see the other stages.  If that doesn't work, click on the graphic and you might get a readable version.

For the first time, we were able to scan in Elden's stage descriptions for an ICORE match.  As long as Elden puts them all on a single sheet like this, we will be able to reproduce the stage COFs here to match up with the results.  Thanks, Elden!
As usual, we took a ba-zillion photos, over 500 if you can believe it.  One of the reasons we took so many photos is that we used our camera's "sport mode."  The camera takes a photo roughly every second.  We hope to convert some of those sequences into some videos.  Don't worry, we aren't going to publish 500+ photos.  Here is one of our favorites of the day of George.  It's the first time we have ever caught the muzzle blast looking this good.  Catching the muzzle blast is just plain pure luck and coincidence.
Captions are below each of the remaining photos.
In addition to his fastest time and fewest hits, Rex also received the coveted "Best Dressed" award for the day.  The boots definitely helped earn extra style points.
Elden Arnell gave Rex a run for his money, finishing 2nd in both time and fewest hits.
Bill Roberts recorded the fastest raw time of the match.  His 148.66 raw time was nearly 21 seconds faster than Rex's raw time.  Bill finished third in adjusted time
Skip demonstrates his ever-consistent shooting stance and form.
Dave shoots with his support (weak).
Bill was the third most accurate shooter.

Mark records his shooting with a GoPro camera.
Craig gets off s hot with his long barrel revolver.
And here's Elden totin' his ol' .44.
